Q1. Are you sure your Shopping Cart only costs SGD199? Others quoted me prices of above $1,000 for a Shopping Cart!
A1. Yes, the cost is SGD199 to install a shopping cart system. We believe shopping carts are extremely wonderful (and powerful) tools for anyone who's interested to set up an online business and since most start-ups or small businesses do not have a huge budget in the beginning to purchase fully customised shopping carts from web-development companies, we provide you with open-source solutions -- thus, keeping costs low and yet being able to deliver shopping cart systems as powerful (if not better) than what other web-development companies can offer.
Q2. I am sure there are hidden costs - why won't you reveal it? Are you going to charge me enormous amounts after I have signed-up?
A2. We don't reveal the "hidden costs" simply because there are none. Our rates are displayed in our services pages and also on the downloadable Shopping Cart Order Form itself. You will definitely be able to see our rates and charges before signing up for anything. Since our billing style is by "Per Service" rather than by "Per Hour", you do not need to ask us for "Quotes". Just decide on the services you need and we will send you an invoice for payment. Our policy is simply - open pricing - nothing hidden.
Q3. On your services page, there's something about Additional Services - what's that? How do I know if I need these services?
A3. Additional services are those which we feel are essential to the proper execution of your web-store. However, as you may already have some of the services already, we do not want to charge you for "things you do not need" by including these "extras" as a package. For instance, if you already have a simple website running, it means you should have already registered a Domain Name and subscribed to a Web Host. So, there's no need for you to purchase those from us.
Q4. I would like to have my Shopping Cart "looking special, looking customised", are you able to customise the design for me? How much do you charge?
A4. We did not place our charges for "customisation" because we do not provide such service. Customising the Shopping Cart will be very time consuming and costly. What we offer to you are Premium Themes. These Premium Themes look very professionally done and will be enough to make your Shopping Cart look as though it's been customised, but only at a small fraction of the cost. Premium Themes cost approximately SGD300 each (provided by TemplateMonster) and we will help you to install the Premium Theme for SGD100. The best thing about the Premium Themes is that you get to browse through a huge selection of ready-made samples and purchase ONLY IF something nice catches your eye.
AFTER-SALES - Shopping Cart Administration
Q1. Can you teach me how to use the Admin Panel?
A1. As we are focused on keeping costs low for you. We won't be able to guide you one-to-one on how to use the Admin Panel. After the installation of the Shopping Cart, we will insert a few Sample Categories and Products so it will be easy for you "trial and error" and make changes accordingly. Before you order from us, you will also be able to try out the Admin Panel Demo and see if you are comfortable. We will also provide you with a User Manual for your Shopping Cart which will show you how to control the Admin Panel and make full use of your Shopping Cart effectively.
